Megan Cartwright (High School Chorus) is in her 9th year at LBSS as the director of High School Choirs. She graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Vocal Music Education. This is Mrs. Cartwright’s 10th year teaching in Fairfax County. Most recently, she was a member of the National Philharmonic Singers, under the direction of Dr. Patrick Walders. Mrs. Cartwright is also the youth choir director at Immanuel Bible Church. Mrs. Cartwright and her husband Chris have one daughter, Olivia, who often makes appearances on the Lake Braddock Stage.
Mary Woods (Middle School Chorus) has been teaching, directing, and vocal coaching for 25 years. She received her BA’s in both Music/ Choral Conducting and Education/ Secondary from Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles and her MA in Vocal Performance from George Mason University. This is Mrs. Woods' first year at Lake Braddock, where she has undertaken AP Theory in addition to Middle School Chorus. Mrs. Woods and her husband live in Burke with their children.
